MEADOWLARK VINEYARDS WINS SILVER MEDAL IN SECOND ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL GREEN WINE COMPETITION

All-Star Judges Single Out Meadowlark Vineyards at International Competition

Green WineSANTA ROSA, CA – An all-star panel of judges determined that Meadowlark Vineyards wines were worthy of a Silver Medal. Meadowlark Vineyards competed against over 200 wines entered from over 90 wineries from around the world in the International Green Wine Competition™, which concluded recently in Santa Rosa, CA.

This is the only wine competition in the world that focuses on wines made from organic grapes, organic wines, Biodynamic® wines and wines made from vineyards transitioning to organic or biodynamic status.

The following Meadowlark Vineyards vintages won medals at the competition:

Silver Medal- Santa Barbara County Limited Selection 2007 Syrah

This wine from Santa Barbara is characterized by a soft vanilla aroma with ripe cherry and tobacco accents. Spicy, peppery, fruity, aromatics rich on the palette. Well balanced with clinging tannins and delightful lingering.
